Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and qualified Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of at least one of the major modern languages and a proven track record of delivering engaging lessons that motivate students to excel. You will play a key role in our MFL department, helping to shape the curriculum and inspire the next generation of linguists.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality MFL lessons to students across all key stages
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
  • Contribute to the development of the MFL curriculum and resources
  • Participate in school-wide activities, including professional development and staff meetings
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • A degree in a relevant subject or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching MFL at the secondary school level
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for modern languages
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school community
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
