Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging lessons in French and/or Spanish (KS3 & KS4), focusing on four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
Use data-driven formative assessments to ensure every student remains on track to meet or exceed projected progress targets
Maintain focused, inclusive learning environment using academy's 'firm but fair' behavior strategies, encouraging students to take risks with language production
As Form Tutor and subject specialist, help students build resilience and confidence to communicate in diverse, international community
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree: BA/MA in French, Spanish, or closely related Modern Languages field
Experience: proven history of teaching MFL within UK secondary school setting
Valid enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply)
