As an MFL teacher, you will bridge cultural gaps, introducing students to new worlds through language and helping them build the confidence to communicate on a global stage. As an MFL teacher, you will act as a bridge between cultures, moving beyond simple translation to give students the keys to a global community. You will design immersive lessons that challenge students to think and communicate in a foreign tongue, using everything from interactive media to real-world scenarios to build their confidence.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to various learning styles and abilities
Reinforce learning by consistently reviewing prior material and building foundations
Assess understanding to ensure every student is progressing
Design interactive tasks, assignments, and cultural activities
Drive classroom engagement by encouraging students to speak and think in the target language
Monitor and record student growth and achievement
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised qualification
Eligibility to work in the UK
Prior teaching experience within an MFL department
An Enhanced DBS on the update service
Excellent communication skills and a high level of fluency in your specialist language(s)
Deep subject knowledge and a passion for pedagogy
