Job Description:

Are you passionate about languages and inspiring pupils to explore new cultures through communication? GSL Education are seeking an experienced MFL Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging lessons that build pupils’ confidence and competence in a modern foreign language. As a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher, you will create interactive and inclusive lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while fostering cultural awareness.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver high-quality language lessons
Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Encourage cultural understanding and curiosity in the classroom
Work collaboratively with colleagues as an MFL Teacher

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching a modern foreign language in a school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
