Job Description:

Embark on a transformative journey as a Mexico Settlement CTB. At Barclays, our vision is clear –to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. In this role, you will manage the efficient delivery of large‑scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, ensuring delivery in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management of the delivery, resource allocation and improvement of complex technical project capabilities across the bank using Agile/Scrum methodologies for planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives and the execution of sprints
  • Collaboration with customers and business teams to manage and implement customer trails to support the proposal of technically feasible solutions, and effort and timeline expectations
  • Collaboration with software engineers, quality teams, product managers and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle aligned to the banks objectives, regulation and security policies
  • Identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with technical projects to prepare the bank for potential challenges
  • Management of change requests and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Management of vendor relations involved in technical projects to ensure they deliver according to agreed terms
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improving deliver outcomes and to foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence and growth

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income, FX, Swaps, and Repo products
  • Experience with Mexican regulatory reporting to Banxico, CNBV, IPAB, including ownership of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with Finance and Operations teams to manage regulatory obligations and reporting requirements
  • Experience in the design and maintenance of interfaces between OPICS and GREP, including coordination with vendors for testing, UAT, and implementation of new requirements
  • A focus on issue resolution and risk management best practices

Nice to have:

  • Experience working within a large organization or financial markets environment
  • Extensive experience engaging with regulators and the regulatory examination process, ideally within financial institutions
  • Knowledge in .NET development C# with object‑oriented programming, along with SQL programming, including Oracle stored procedures
  • Desirable experience working with OPICS and GREP systems, including leading functional projects and programs that enhance risk assessment and mitigation efforts
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to analyze business trends and assess their implications for risk management
