As an MX Procurement Associate, you will be responsible for connecting Shippers and Carriers efficiently through Arrive’s products and technologies. The goal of this position is to strengthen relationships with carriers yielding unique capacity for Arrive’s strategy. This role requires an ambitious, energetic individual who is undaunted towards difficult tasks and able to offer creative solutions. Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Strategic departments assisting in penetrating currently onboarded Carriers with Arrive while also focusing on new Carrier acquisitions pertaining to applicable Carriers
  • Grow and support the Capacity network enabling peace of mind and confidence within the Business Development department
  • Play an integral part in developing capacity, advising the sales floor on Carrier operations, and being a consultant to the capacity strategy to be a part of a unique service offering seeking to grow rapidly
  • Lead technology adoption initiatives: Drive the implementation and utilization of innovative technologies such as Arrive Now’s Portal for online booking and MacroPoint for Auto Tracking, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing efficiency for carriers and internal teams
  • Develop and onboard new MX-domiciled carriers strategically: Proactively identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with new carriers in Mexico, leveraging market insights and industry connections to enhance coverage and strengthen Arrive’s Network
  • Take the lead in specialized project procurement: Oversee procurement efforts for unique projects and RFPs, including pre-sourcing capacity, negotiating terms, and facilitating collaboration among Operations, Business Development, and carriers to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to utilize supporting data to establish a high probability funnel for lane sourcing
  • Operate across teams and communicate supply/demand needs
  • Ability to connect, engage, and execute committed lane agreements with senior level Carrier contacts
  • Be a good teammate – Collaborate, train, and support the Sales floor with knowledge
  • Check-in with Committed/Core Carriers to generate feedback and build relationships for further opportunities
  • Help lock down Committed Capacity rates on contracted freight

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required
  • A minimum of two years of logistics or sales experience is required
  • Experience with strategic initiatives and sales execution is preferred
  • Commitment to quality and best-in-class communication is essential

  • Be certified to operate all mission positions. At the completion of each mission, you will lead the data analysis and report generation
