Job Description

Ensure all mechanical and electromechanical parts meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Perform inspections throughout production, interpret drawings and GD&T, and collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Inspect incoming, in-process, and final parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM)
  • Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T standards
  • Define and improve inspection workflows, documentation, and criteria
  • Decide part acceptance or rejection
  • work with engineering and production to resolve issues
  • Maintain calibrated inspection equipment and organized work areas
  • Document inspection results, metrology data, and quality reports
  • Train and mentor team members on inspection methods and standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in quality inspection, control, or manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
  • Skilled with measurement tools and quality documentation (FAI, PPAP, Gage R&R)
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication
  • Experience training others in inspection and quality techniques

Nice to have

  • Experience in precision manufacturing (aerospace, medical devices, automotive)
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, 8D, SPC, FMEA, and lean quality methods
  • Experience in startup or fast-paced environments
