Job Description

Your Role and Tasks: Perform product approvals using optical, mechanical, and tactile inspection methods, including CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints, document inspection results, and generate comprehensive metrology reports. Manage measurement data and develop precise measurement strategies and descriptions. Liaise with clients in coordination with the Project Manager to discuss technical requirements. Plan inspection methods and quality procedures for the production floor. Ensure full compliance by verifying that all processes and finished parts are sampled and approved according to quality specifications and standards.

Requirements

  • Technical degree or equivalent professional experience in metrology
  • Proficiency in CMM programming (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a significant asset
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards is a plus
  • French: Native or Bilingual
  • English: Professional working proficiency (Good understanding)
  • German: Knowledge of German is a strong asset
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Strong spatial awareness and logical technical reasoning
  • Numeracy skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and metrology software
  • Structured work ethic, characterized by precision, attention to detail, and autonomy

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards is a plus
  • Knowledge of German is a strong asset

  • Provides high-level technical expertise, oversight and project management support for the operations of the Standards Laboratory, Measuring & Test Equipment (M&TE) related services, and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements for internal and external customers
