Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets has an opportunity for a Metro Driver at our distribution facility located in Round Lake, NY.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive trucks over established route to deliver product
  • Collect payment from customers (as needed)
  • Record transactions on customer receipt
  • Collect or pick up empty containers or returned merchandise
  • Obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
  • Clean truck
  • Follow all federal and company mandated safety and vehicle regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid Class C Non-commercial Driver License (or equivalent from another state)
  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • 6 months prior experience driving comparable equipment (no mileage requirement)
  • specific license per federal / state requirements
  • be able to obtain and maintain a valid medical certificate
  • Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
