Job Responsibility:

  • Adheres to General Work Requirements
  • assists with analyzing feasibility according to optimal methods by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production
  • assists with drafting the necessary working and repair documents
  • learns to analyze and estimate PCR (Program Change Request)
  • assists with analyzing equipment and workstation production capacity, as well as creating task sequency and capacity analysis
  • assists with analyzing requirements and initiates productions tool purchase orders, including ECAAR (Emergency Capital Acquisition Authorization)
  • assists Methods Planners with tool designs
  • directs Methods Planners in the preparation and revision of manufacturing documents such as MIWOs, LOGs, TWOs, Set-Up Documents (Mfg Work Orders, Work Instructions (LOGs) and Tooling Work Orders)

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in Methods, Material Planning, or related area
  • basic knowledge of SAP, ACAD, Catia V4/V5
  • basic knowledge of Project Management principles
  • ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications
  • manufacturing background (preferred)
  • bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
