Job Description:

Airswift is seeking a Metering Engineer (onshore, only local candidates) to work at Georgetown- Guyana, on a permanent position with an Oil and Gas Company. Responsible for supporting the Metering discipline by assisting in the planning and execution of preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities that require onshore involvement. Additionally, provides first-response support to offshore teams during breakdowns and troubleshooting when onshore assistance is needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide onshore support for the planning and execution of planned preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Act as the main point of contact onshore for variations and problem resolution
  • Contribute to annual budget planning
  • Support the effectiveness of process safety barriers and monitor KPIs
  • Promote adherence to maintenance policies and application of lessons learned
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of equipment shutdowns or decommissioning
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Participate in offshore visits as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Engineering is required
  • Fluent English
  • Advanced Microsoft Office package knowledge is required
  • Intermediate CMMS systems knowledge is a competitive edge (SAP preferred)
  • Basic Power BI knowledge is a competitive edge
  • Only local candidates, Guyanese

Nice to have:

  • Intermediate CMMS systems knowledge (SAP preferred)
  • Basic Power BI knowledge
