Job Description:

Love working outdoors and being part of your local community? We're on the lookout for a Meter Reader to join our Stanthorpe team! In this role, you'll enjoy flexible outdoor work—walking and driving through your allocated neighbourhoods while recording utility meter readings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner
  • Uphold the Service Stream safety standards and publicly represent Service Stream and our clients in a professional manner
  • Understand and ensure targets are met
  • Ability to work independently but also work with other members of the team to achieve KPIs
  • Regularly communicate with office support team and your Supervisor on a daily basis
  • Upload/download route information to/from hand-held device

Requirements:

  • Current valid driver's licence
  • White Card or willingness to obtain one
  • Ready to learn and work on your own
  • Comfortable with walking, bending, squatting – rain or shine
  • Able to travel up to 45 minutes one-way on a case-by-case basis
  • Positive attitude, great attention to detail, and a solid work ethic
  • Live in Stanthorpe or the surrounding areas
