Metal Surface Processor

• Review tie-in book or standard operating procedures to understand daily work assignments
• Provide comprehensive oral or written shift handoffs
• Monitor workload and coordinate task flow
• Identify, separate, and prepare parts according to work orders and chemical recipes
• Conduct thorough inspections of materials
• Apply approved masking materials and coatings
• Determine appropriate racking methods for complex part geometries
• Rack and unrack parts
• Operate material handling systems (cranes, hoists, carts)
• Operate and monitor cleaning, Dow Coating, anodizing, dyeing, alodine, and rinsing tanks
• Perform specific treatments such as sulfuric/chromic acid dips
• Assist in maintaining chemical strength
• Start generators and operate control panels
• Strip anodizing from racks
• Clean tanks, crocks, and equipment
• Mark, oil, wrap, and route completed parts
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials
• Complete required on-the-job training and maintain certifications

• 1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• 1+ years of experience or training reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
• 1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be a 'US Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Must meet Export Control compliance requirements
