Job Description:

MET Technician role within DLG Auto Services, part of a network of repair centres with a mission to deliver high-quality repairs for customers. The role involves working within a team of painters, panel beaters, and other MET fitters, reporting to a workshop controller.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-quality vehicle repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible
Keep customers informed every step of the way
Get people back on the road with maximum confidence and minimum fuss

Requirements:

Experience in stripping, refurbishing, and fitting a wide variety of vehicles
Enthusiastic, upbeat, and committed to delivering the best repair service
Work in compliance with Health and Safety, Audatex estimates, DLGAS ways of working, and BS10125 procedures

Refit new / repaired panels and repair small dents and minor body work for accident damaged vehicles
Repair and panel damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with approved Repair Methodology and manufacturers standards
Use specialist body repair equipment – measuring equipment, body jigs, welding equipment and smart repair tools
Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card
