To dismantle, reassemble, repair, or replace damaged mechanical, electrical, trim and body components of vehicles in accordance with repair estimates and methods issued. The MET/Panel Technician ensures all work is completed professionally, within estimated times, and to a high standard while adhering to health and safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
Job Responsibility:
Professionally and accurately dismantle and reassemble vehicles
Carry out structural and panel repairs or replacements
Use jigs, fixtures, and welding equipment safely and correctly
Adhere to all manufacturer instructions
Advise Line Manager of any deviations, additional work, or issues
Ensure all replacement parts are ordered as per the estimate
Carry out quality checks on own work and that of others
Supervise and support non-qualified technicians
Attend training courses
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Handle all customer vehicles with care
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience is essential
ATA accreditation is preferred

ATA accreditation
