Job Description:

Mesero position at W Mexico City serving food and beverages to guests, maintaining service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to type of event and service standards
Answer questions on menu selections
Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
Record transactions in MICROS system
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
Complete closing duties including restocking
Present check and process payment
Follow safety and security policies
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Develop positive working relationships with team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
