MES Technician II

• Monitor and respond to problems with computer systems
• Complete periodic checklists regarding MES & HMGMA computer systems
• Promptly respond to and resolve issues and requests
• Work with other Analysts and other MES team members to resolve issues
• Escalate issues as per MES escalation standards
• Work in both a control room and on the plant floor
• Work overtime as needed to support production as well as projects
• Reconfigure and replace computers, scanners, and printers as they fail
• Attend some holidays and the summer shutdown period to perform preventative maintenance of computers and MES equipment
• Assist customers with installations and modifications regarding MES systems

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2+ years of IT experience
• Strong computer troubleshooting, hardware, and software support
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, Web Browsers, and taking phone calls
• Experience with building computers, imaging computers or installing Windows
• Must be able to think analytically
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to interact positively with internal and external customers
• Must be able to work shift rotation (mornings/afternoon/graveyard)

CompTIA A+ preferred
