Job Description:

As a MES Application Integrator at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you will define and implement our business processes in IT solutions. You will work in a modern, digitalized, open office-style environment as part of a 10+-member team, collaborating with a broad network covering technologies across all BMW plants and the IT headquarters.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and implement business processes in IT solutions
  • Test, integrate, rollout and operate production critical applications as part of an international team utilizing agile methodology
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure high availability and stability of productive IT solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor / Master degree or equivalent in Information Technologies, Industrial Engineering or Mathematics with focus on IT
  • At least 3 years of experience using relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, or MS-SQL
  • Experience with UNIX/LINUX operating systems
  • Experience working with MES/ERP systems
  • Knowledge of modern software architecture and technology stacks including cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS)
  • Strong understanding on application’s operations
  • Knowledge and experience in a variety of programming languages, preferably Python, TypeScript or GO
  • Knowledge of process and agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Ansible, GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines)
  • Good analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Goal-oriented and structured
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel abroad on business trips
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and Hungarian
  • Willing to work on-site during regular business hours
