Job Description

A growing full-service law firm is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Corporate Associate to join its New York office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–5 years of M&A experience who is looking for strong deal exposure, meaningful client contact, and a collaborative platform for growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft, review, and negotiate merger, stock purchase, and asset purchase agreements, letters of intent, and related transaction documents
  • Support buyers, sellers, and management teams in M&A and other complex corporate transactions
  • Conduct due diligence and coordinate transaction closings
  • Advise emerging and growth-stage companies on formations, governance, capital raises, and restructurings
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts
  • Assist with joint ventures and capital raises, with commercial real estate experience viewed favorably

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of verifiable M&A experience
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Experience with joint ventures and capital raises preferred
  • Admitted in New York and in good standing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
