Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Merchant Services Sales Manager who will be responsible for the oversight of a Merchant Sales team. This crucial role is responsible for effectively creating sales opportunities with merchant services clients and prospects. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and develop Merchant Services Sales team and engage stakeholders and internal partners associated
  • Supervise in transactional tasks and processes to ensure timely completion, quality, and compliance
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development in complex functions
  • Make decisions and resolve issues related to team supervision, work allocation, and daily operations under direction of management
  • Leverage interpretation of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers, as well as interact directly with external customer
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Merchant Services Sales
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Nice to have:

  • Strong relationship management experience
  • 4+ years Managing compliance, risk, and credit processes
  • Ability to identify, understand, and analyze growth opportunities based on market potential
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead by influence and example
  • Ability to provide exceptional client satisfaction to retain and grow Merchant Client relationships
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Experience creating Merchant Service sales opportunities
  • Small Business Merchant and Banking experience strongly desired
  • Partner with support channels to meet business goals
  • Execute business planning to meet the initiatives of Small Business Merchant and Small Business Banking
  • Align with Small Business strategy
