Marni is looking for a Collection Merchandising Manager Footwear to join the Collection Merchandising team. Role Overview The Collection Merchandising Manager for Footwear plays a key role in shaping Marni's seasonal footwear assortment. The role ensures a strong balance between creative vision, market needs, and commercial performance, overseeing the full lifecycle of the category from concept definition to go-to-market.

Job Responsibility

  • Build the seasonal footwear collection architecture, defining structure, price corridors, and category mix
  • Translate creative input, brand positioning and market insights into a coherent and competitive product offer
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Design, Product Development, Planning and Industrialization to ensure feasibility, cost alignment and time-to-market
  • Analyze sell-in and sell-out performance, providing actionable insights to optimize assortment, pricing and product lifecycle
  • Support go-to-market activities with clear product arguments, sales materials and collection presentations for internal and external teams
  • Manage carry-over styles and icons, ensuring brand consistency and long-term category development

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Merchandising, ideally within luxury fashion and with a strong focus on footwear
  • Solid understanding of footwear product development processes, materials and cost drivers
  • Strong analytical mindset, proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
  • experience with PLM systems
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with creative and business stakeholders
  • High aesthetic sensitivity, market awareness and a strong product mindset
  • Degree in Fashion Management, Business or related fields
