The Merchandising Execution Manager is responsible for optimizing product merchandising outside of planogram space on the sales floor to maximize space utilization and drive sales. This role involves developing and implementing off-shelf merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and encourage impulse purchases, thereby increasing basket size.
Job Responsibility:
Act as top-level specialist on merchandising
Advise merchandising team on product displays and visual elements
Lead Hispanic Strategy team
Optimize product merchandising outside of planogram space
Develop and implement off-shelf merchandising strategies
Collaborate with merchandising team, category managers, and field team
Measure on-shelf programs
Influence teams to allocate space for Hispanic customers
Apply advanced knowledge of pricing and promotion strategies
Coach merchandising teams on product displays
Consult with supply chain teams to optimize inventory
Coordinate on assortment planning strategy
Create KPIs to assess product performance
Design and develop pricing strategy
Develop actionable insights from customer data
Requirements:
5+ years' experience of developing, implementing and executing programs
5+ years of demonstrated successful leadership experience in a highly competitive environment
5+ years' proven track record of influencing others with and without authority
8+ years' experience building high-performing, successful teams developing key talent
5+ years' experience actively taking on issues in a decisive manner
5+ years' experience leading under pressure, adapting to changing dynamics in real time
5+ years' experience understanding and breaking down highly complex situations
5+ years' experience effectively demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
5+ years' experience collaborating effectively across different business functions
5+ years' experience demonstrated ability to lead a large team and manage a million-dollar business unit
