Job Description

We are seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to support our studio team during peak season as we head into the holiday period. This role is fully onsite in Coppell, TX and will play a critical part in ensuring merchandise is properly tracked, prepped, and ready for studio shoots. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, process driven, and confident working in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Request, receive, and inspect merchandise samples for upcoming studio shoots
  • Prepare merchandise for shoots, including cleaning items, removing tags, organizing trays, and basic styling
  • Coordinate handoffs of merchandise to studio, photography, and styling teams
  • Maintain accurate inventory to prevent lost, damaged, or undocumented samples
  • Assist on set as needed, working closely with stylists and models
  • Reassemble, document, and return samples with correct paperwork, packaging, and tags

Requirements

  • Extremely detail oriented, organized, and process driven
  • Proficiency in Excel for tracking and PowerPoint for shot lists
  • High level of accuracy and confidence managing physical inventory

Nice to have

  • Previous merchandising, studio, or production support experience
  • Exposure to retail, e-commerce, or photo studio environments
  • Experience supporting high-volume or peak-season workflows

  • Assist the Category Manager in delivering annual and seasonal category strategies as directed
  • Ensure item files are accurate and up to date in order to support category and store positioning strategies as set by the Category Manager
  • Provide input into weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance reports for the Category manager to use to create reports
  • Create and manage assortments for assigned departments and store positioning strategies with input from the Category Manager
  • Monitor ongoing sales figures of all items and key activities as projected in order to maintain appropriate inventory levels for the Category Manager’s vendors
  • Complete the order process from the creation of the purchase order through to the delivery of goods to the store
  • Submit accurate item setup sheets to Data Entry on a timely basis
  • Manage and monitor core item assortment by adding and deleting products at the direction of the Category Manager
  • Review and action store and depot inventory issues for assigned department group
  • Maintain budgeted inventory levels in stores and perform item maintenance as required to ensure the closed-dated items move through the system in a timely manner
