Job Description

Join DeVry Greenhouses as a Merchandiser! Create eye-catching plant displays, work outdoors with a fun, energetic team, and help bring beautiful products to major retailers across North America. DeVry Greenhouses is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our Merchandising Team in Alberta! Merchandisers play a crucial role in our merchandising department, ensuring our products are displayed beautifully and effectively to attract and engage customers.

Job Responsibility

Unloading shipping racks and setting up store displays
Stocking, rotating, and maintaining the care of products
Communicating effectively with clients, team leaders, and team members
Creating visually appealing promotional displays for clients
Ensuring attention to detail in all tasks

Requirements

Willingness to listen and follow instructions from start to finish
Self-motivated with a high energy level
Dependable, reliable and consistent
Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to work in an outdoor garden centre environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid driver's license

Nice to have

Plant knowledge or merchandising experience is an asset but not required

Requirements

A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements
Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law
