We are looking for Merchandise Planner for a top fashion company! The Merchandise Planner will be responsible for setting up processes to support EU digital and store growth for all categories. He/she will work with their leader to provide crucial in-depth sales & inventory analysis, as well as recommendations to the international team, to maximize sales and profitability for Global and its Franchise Partners. This position is open to remote candidates. Hourly pay rate up to $33.00 based on experience.
Job Responsibility:
Manage sales plans and inventory levels for EU digital channel
Partner with team to understand market trends, nuances, risk/opportunity to achieve business goals
Analyze and drive business performance/trends to ensure assortment maximizes growth potential, incorporating assortment planning and tiering analysis
Provide input to Monthly Planning Committee (MPC) meetings with the goal of optimizing inventory across multiple D.C.s and operating models based on merchandise and sales trends
Partner with Merchants to support assortment goals, product launch cadence, and markdown strategy
Ensure digital active dates are accurate and information is flowing from the international merchant assortment tool (MAT) and the Digital Active Date (DAD) tool
Ensure that international exclusives are flowing thru the domestic product development process (PDP) and that all attributes are getting populated and or franchise data handoff
Develop rapport with cross-functional teams and build credibility through effective communication
Respond to ad hoc requests from cross-functional teams
Manage merchandise inventory levels in the EU DC and ensure accurate ring-fencing across channels through inbound receipt tracking and collaboration with Merchandise Planners, Demand Forecasters, and Deployment Analysts
Continually monitor and adjust inventory in-season to minimize markdowns and deliver end of season mark-out-of-stock
Align VSGD inventory expectations with the brand deployment strategy through continuous education of inventory management process
Partner with Logistics and UPS to provide EU DC volume projections
