The Merchandise Assistant provides operational support to the buying function, with a primary focus on the day-to-day management, organization, and preparation of physical samples. This is a highly executional role, with the majority of time spent unboxing, organizing, prepping, and shipping product to support meetings, photoshoots, and cross-functional needs.
Job Responsibility:
Own the intake, unboxing, tracking, and organization of all incoming samples
Prepare samples for meetings, events and photoshoots
Pack, ship, and track samples to stores, vendors, and partners, ensuring timely delivery and returns
Maintain sample inventory and organization, including sample room upkeep and sample sale
Act as point person for Marketing on all sample-related requests
Support data entry, reporting, operational tasks and cross-functional communication as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
1 year of experience in retail environment preferred, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
