We have an opportunity at our Birmingham Head Office to join the team as a Merchandise Administrator. We’re looking for a self-motivated administrator, who has strong analytical and organisational skills to provide administrative support to the business, with a primary focus on controlling the end-to-end flow of stock and purchase orders.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the timely and accurate movement of artwork and related products through our supply chain, while maintaining a commercially aware approach to reordering best-selling and high-performing artwork
Preserve up-to-date product and supplier information within our internal systems while guaranteeing data integrity and accuracy
Help prepare business reporting, stock summaries and performance analytics
Understand sale trends and re-order our best-selling stock accordingly
Make sure documentation and processes meet internal control, audit and financial compliance standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative role ideally relating to merchandising, stock control or supply chain
Ability to interpret sales data using your business acumen to identify reordering opportunities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and with external suppliers
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines
Ability to build great working relationships with galleries and other internal departments
Must be able to work weekends
