Job Description:

MISSION: Own day-to-day field execution of R&D lab and tech facility projects, ensuring MEP scopes are coordinated, subcontractors are accountable, inspections are passed, and work is delivered safely and efficiently in occupied environments. DAY TO DAY: Lead on-site field operations for MEP-intensive R&D lab and high-tech tenant improvement projects; Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and vendors to maintain schedule, quality, and safety standards; Interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and one-line diagrams to drive accurate field execution; Run daily stand-ups, weekly look-ahead planning, and site logistics coordination; Manage inspections, permitting processes, and AHJ relationships while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Requirements:

  • 10–15+ years of construction experience with 5+ years in a Superintendent or Foreman leadership role
  • Proven experience delivering R&D lab, cleanroom, dry room, or life sciences / tech manufacturing projects
  • Strong background in MEP-heavy tenant improvements and complex sequencing in occupied spaces
  • Deep knowledge of California Building Code, OSHA standards, and site safety procedures (LOTO, MOP, etc.)
  • Hands-on, solutions-driven field leader with strong subcontractor management and accountability skills
