A well-established global construction and property consultancy is seeking a commercially driven MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Central London team. The MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering specialist MEP quantity surveying services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, data centre, life sciences and public sector projects. This MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor position will involve managing key MEP quantity surveying responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle, supporting senior leadership while maintaining control of day-to-day commercial activities.
Job Responsibility:
Preparing and reviewing detailed MEP cost plans and budgets
Managing tender documentation and MEP procurement strategies
Leading subcontractor negotiations for MEP packages
Monitoring valuations, variations and change control processes
Supporting risk management and value engineering of building services
Overseeing interim valuations and contributing to final accounts
Producing financial reports and cost updates relating to MEP works
Requirements:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Proven experience as an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor or MEP Quantity Surveyor within construction or consultancy
Strong knowledge of MEP / building services packages
Good understanding of construction contracts (JCT preferred)
Experience delivering projects across the full project lifecycle
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
MRICS achieved or working towards chartership
