A highly regarded construction and property consultancy is seeking a commercially driven MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their Central London team. The MEP Quantity Surveyor will play an important role in delivering specialist MEP quantity surveying services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, mixed-use and public sector projects. This MEP Quantity Surveyor position will involve managing key MEP quantity surveying responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle, supporting senior colleagues while maintaining control of day-to-day commercial activities. The MEP Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, design teams and clients, ensuring strong cost management and consistent MEP quantity surveying standards across multiple schemes. The successful MEP Quantity Surveyor will join a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality cost management, project management and building consultancy services across the UK. Job Responsibility
Preparing MEP cost plans, budgets and feasibility assessments
Assisting with tender documentation and MEP contract preparation
Managing procurement of MEP subcontract packages
Monitoring MEP valuations, variations and change control
Supporting risk management and value engineering of building services
Overseeing interim valuations and contributing to final accounts
Producing financial reports and cost updates relating to MEP works
Requirements
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Experience working as an MEP Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor or similar role within construction or consultancy
Good understanding of MEP / building services packages
Knowledge of construction contracts (JCT preferred)
Experience supporting projects through the full project lifecycle
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
MRICS desirable or working towards
