The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities for large-scale construction and facility development projects. This role ensures effective coordination across design, construction, commissioning, and stakeholder interfaces to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality facilities.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and coordinate MEP-related activities across design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases
Act as the primary coordination point between internal teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with overall project objectives
Support development and execution of MEP schedules aligned with project milestones
Proactively identify and manage technical, schedule, and interface risks
Coordinate technical clarifications and change management to minimize impact on cost and schedule
Review MEP designs and shop drawings to ensure constructability, compliance with regulations, and project requirements
Manage interfaces between MEP systems, building works, and utility connections
Support construction execution through timely technical alignment and issue resolution
Coordinate MEP system testing, commissioning, and readiness for handover
Support completion of required documentation for authorities, compliance, and operational readiness
Provide structured updates on MEP progress, risks, and key issues
Support effective collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements:
10-15 years work experience
Educational background in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
