Job Description

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities for large-scale construction and facility development projects. This role ensures effective coordination across design, construction, commissioning, and stakeholder interfaces to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality facilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and coordinate MEP-related activities across design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases
  • Act as the primary coordination point between internal teams, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with overall project objectives
  • Support development and execution of MEP schedules aligned with project milestones
  • Proactively identify and manage technical, schedule, and interface risks
  • Coordinate technical clarifications and change management to minimize impact on cost and schedule
  • Review MEP designs and shop drawings to ensure constructability, compliance with regulations, and project requirements
  • Manage interfaces between MEP systems, building works, and utility connections
  • Support construction execution through timely technical alignment and issue resolution
  • Coordinate MEP system testing, commissioning, and readiness for handover
  • Support completion of required documentation for authorities, compliance, and operational readiness
  • Provide structured updates on MEP progress, risks, and key issues
  • Support effective collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams
