Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will lead and manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously, ensuring each is delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Projects may include Healthcare, Education, Retail, Leisure Centres, Public Sector Buildings, and light industrial developments. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven professional looking to take ownership of complex MEP schemes within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver MEP projects successfully, ensuring completion within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Liaise effectively with contractors, sub-contractors, and key project stakeholders
  • Manage labour resources and associated project costs
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement practical solutions
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, Directors, Clients, and other Stakeholders
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, wholesalers, and trade partners
  • Uphold and enforce Health & Safety standards for all staff and sub-contractors
  • Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and relevant financial or legal regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Quantity Surveyor within the MEP Building Services sector (contracting or consulting)
  • Demonstrable success in delivering commercial installation projects
  • Strong technical background in Mechanical and/or Electrical Building Services
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Proficiency in CAD and/or Revit is advantageous
  • Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Ideally, time-served as an Electrician, Plumber, or Gas Engineer, offering hands-on experience bridging both site and office operations
