Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for the coordination, execution, and delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across mission-critical projects in Norway. You will ensure all MEP works are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with Norwegian regulations.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and design, installation and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection)
  • Co-ordination of BIM teams to resolve design clashes and ensure seamless integration of MEP services
  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure adherence to technical specifications and project milestones
  • Ensure all MEP works comply with Norwegian building codes, Arbeidsmiljøloven (Working Environment Act), and Byggherreforskriften (Builder Regulations)
  • Develop and maintain HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements in line with Norwegian standards
  • Ensure all site personnel hold valid HSE cards and follow internal control routines
  • Manager of MEP commission plans, testing procedures, and handover documentation
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure quality assurance and system performance
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
  • Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to senior management
  • Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties
  • Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company and group policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • PMP, Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
  • FSE training for electrical safety
  • Valid HSE card
  • Experience with Norwegian permitting and regulatory bodies (DSB, Arbeidstilsynet)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in MEP project delivery, ideally in data centres or mission-critical environments
  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of Norwegian HSE regulations and construction practices
  • Familiarity with BIM tools and digital construction platforms
  • Fluent in English
  • Norwegian language skills are a strong advantage
  • Understanding of the Working Environment Act (Arbeidsmiljølove)
  • Regulatory knowledge (DEKSA, customs, HSSE standards)
  • Hold a valid HSE card
  • Experience working in multicultural teams and adapting to local work cultures
