Supervising MEP systems during the construction phase of project
Report directly to Technical Manager and the Investor
Providing troubleshooting solutions/ design review to client in case of electrical problems
Evaluating the need to replace components of existing systems for client
Evaluating the electrical requirements and ensuring that they are fulfilled
Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific infrastructure project
Inspect project construction sites/ fire prevention system/ control of electric system, to follow the checklist
Performs advanced fieldwork and assists with project management
Always assess the risks and work in a safe manner, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health
Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations, accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager
Supervise contractors to comply with construction procedures, technical procedures, acceptance procedures and product quality throughout the construction process
Research, coordinate, and review appropriate site construction solutions related to mechanical and electrical aspects which are submitted by the contractor
Liaise with Technical Manager as appropriate for any other technical assistance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fields.
5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
Has certificate of supervisor M&E grade II
Proficient use of specialized software for electricity
Knowledge of electrical systems, installation procedures, circuits and maintenance
Knowledge about safety measures and standards
Good command in office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)
Fluent in reading, writing & speaking English is preferred
Can work independently under pressure
Can arrange to travel for inspection jobs
Strong leadership skills – able to lead and manage a team
