Job Description

Are you a Wards Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Mental Health services across the North East? We have exciting opportunities with great pay and flexibility!

Job Responsibility

  • clinically screen prescriptions across mental health wards
  • conduct clinic room audits and medicines governance checks
  • support wards including forensic, PICU, acute and rehabilitation settings
  • provide specialist medicines advice to multidisciplinary teams
  • adapt to different ward environments and service needs
  • support safe and effective medicines optimisation for patients

Requirements

  • current GPhC registration
  • prior NHS hospital wards experience
  • mental health hospital experience highly desirable
  • pharmacists with strong physical health wards experience will also be considered
  • strong clinical screening ability and medicines knowledge
  • excellent communication and adaptability across services
