Minimum of one (1) year mental health worker experience working with psychiatric patients either in an inpatient or residential setting
AHA Basic Life Support - CPR
Fire Safety, within 90 Days

Job Responsibility

Assist with patient/family care needs from admission to discharge
Monitor patient on Q15 min. observations including (Q5, LOS, and 1:1 obs.)
Accurately monitor and record patient VS and intake and output and daily activities, including patio breaks
Assist Nurses with patient care to include Groups, Activities of daily living, as needed
Must be able to effectively communicate with patients in crisis situations and assist RNs with restraining patients
Assist in maintaining adequate stocks and supplies items.

Job Responsibility

Job Responsibility

As our Mental Health Tech, you will be vital support for Behavioral Health's front and back office functions, assisting psychiatrists, patients, and the care management team
You'll ensure smooth operations, quality medication management, and clinical problem-solving
Provide basic medication triage, support services, and take vital signs for behavioral health patients

Assists patients through a trauma informed care atmosphere in the development of individuality and appropriate methods of self-expression
Assists the patients in acknowledging and accepting responsibility for psychological and behavioral patterns

Performs basic nursing tasks (i.e. but not limited to: vital signs, blood pressure, specimen collection, accu checks, weighing and assisting with ADL)
Provides trauma informed care and supervision to patients needing physical restraints or seclusion
Assists the patient in dealing with relationship difficulties, supports and teaches appropriate socializations skills
