Huge Demand of Support Workers in Cumbria !!! RANDSTAD is seeking compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join our teams in Whitehaven and Kendal. We are experiencing an urgent need for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide person-centered support: You'll work directly with individuals, providing assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement
  • Create a safe and supportive environment: You'll foster a positive atmosphere where individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered
  • Collaborate with a team: You'll work closely with other support staff, care professionals, and families to ensure the best possible care for each individual
  • Promote independence and well-being: You'll encourage individuals to reach their full potential and participate in meaningful activities that enhance their quality of life

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with individuals with disabilities, older adults, PEG Feed training, complex behaviour and Mental Health Issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build strong, trusting relationships
  • A patient and understanding demeanor
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care
  • 6 MONTHS OF Relevant experience as a Mental Health Support Worker
  • Must have access to a Car and flexible to travel in Cumbria
  • Must be able to work for 37.5hrs per week
  • No Sponsorships Provided
