Job Description:

A high-achieving, modern Primary School within the Borough of Merton is seeking candidates for Mental Health Support Worker roles. These positions involve working with students with special educational needs and mental health challenges to support their development and learning. This position offers opportunities for skill-building in areas like mentoring, group facilitation, and one-on-one support.

Job Responsibility:

Mentoring students with SEND, SEMH and Safeguarding requirements
Developing strong relationships with pupils, Work Experience Placements, Learning Skills Centre, and Colleges Links
Planning and running group sessions and 1:1 session addressing the needs of the students

Requirements:

Graduates with a keen interest in Mental Health, Therapy, Psychological Research, Education, Speech and Language, Special Needs

Nice to have:

Experience with SEN and Mental Health
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils
