Role: Support Worker Pay Rate: £12.90 Per Hour Shifts: Days & Nights Full-time - 42 hours per week About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults to: Engage in meaningful activities that reflect their interests, goals, and aspirations; Build confidence and skills to live as independently as possible; Access and participate in their local communities, including education, employment, volunteering, and social opportunities; Develop and maintain positive relationships with family, friends, and professionals; Make informed choices and have their voice heard in all aspects of their lives; You will provide person-centred support that promotes dignity, respect, and choice, adapting your approach to meet each individual’s needs. Key Responsibilities: Support individuals with daily living skills, encouraging independence at every opportunity; Facilitate community-based activities and meaningful occupation, tailored to individual outcomes; Promote emotional wellbeing and positive mental health; Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals; Maintain accurate records and contribute to person-centred support planning; Support individuals to manage risks safely while maintaining choice and autonomy; About You: We’re looking for people who: Are caring, patient, and genuinely committed to supporting others; Believe in ability, not limitation; Can encourage independence while providing the right level of support; Communicate clearly and respectfully; Are reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a supportive team; Experience in learning disabilities or mental health is welcomed, but not essential – we value the right attitude, values, and willingness to learn.
