Job Description:

This is an exceptional opportunity to play a vital role in supporting individuals with enduring mental health needs to lead independent, fulfilling lives. Active Pathways is recruiting compassionate Mental Health Support Workers for night shifts at Brookhaven & The Hamptons in Bamber Bridge, Preston.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting
  • Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals
  • Support residents with meaningful daily activities and community engagement
  • Assist with emotional, social, and practical needs
  • Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent support
  • Promote independence, self-confidence, and relapse prevention strategies
  • Encourage and support access to education, employment, and leisure opportunities

Requirements:

  • Experience in a mental health or rehabilitation setting
  • Confidence in building rapport with residents and the wider team
  • A strong understanding of person-centred, quality care
  • A positive, supportive approach with a focus on recovery and inclusion
