Job Description:

Support Worker – Adults with Learning Disabilities & Mental Health. Make a real difference. Every day. We are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers who are passionate about enabling adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live as independently as possible. Job Responsibility:

Support individuals with daily living skills, encouraging independence at every opportunity
Facilitate community-based activities and meaningful occupation, tailored to individual outcomes
Promote emotional wellbeing and positive mental health
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
Maintain accurate records and contribute to person-centred support planning
Support individuals to manage risks safely while maintaining choice and autonomy

Requirements:

Are caring, patient, and genuinely committed to supporting others
Believe in ability, not limitation
Can encourage independence while providing the right level of support
Communicate clearly and respectfully
Are reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a supportive team
Experience in learning disabilities or mental health is welcomed, but not essential – we value the right attitude, values, and willingness to learn.
