Job Description

Are you a Band 7/8a Mental Health Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Manchester? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Responsibility

  • perform comprehensive patient assessments on mental health wards
  • support medicines optimisation for psychiatric patients
  • provide clinical screening and advice on prescriptions
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • contribute to safe and effective medication use within the service
  • assist with inpatient dispensary duties where required

Requirements

  • current and valid GPhC registration
  • prior NHS hospital experience (mental health experience desirable)
  • pharmacists with physical health experience will be considered at Band 7 level if keen to gain MH experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
