Job Description

Join our team as a Mental Health Pharmacist and make a real difference in the lives of patients on mental health wards. This role includes providing clinical pharmacy support, conducting medicines reconciliation, offering medication advice, and working with a multidisciplinary team to help optimise medication use for mental health patients.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing clinical pharmacy support for mental health wards
  • Conducting medicines reconciliation and drug chart screening
  • Offering medication advice and support to patients on the wards
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimise medication use for mental health patients
  • Supporting pharmacy technicians and ATO staff with medication reviews and checking duties

Requirements

  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • Previous hospital ward experience required (Mental health experience is not essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A passion for delivering high-quality patient care
