Job Description:

Join our team as a Mental Health Pharmacist and make a real difference in the lives of patients on mental health wards. We offer high pay, flexibility, and a long-term contract in Essex. Responsibilities include providing clinical pharmacy support, medicines reconciliation, offering patient medication advice, and working with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Responsibility:

Providing clinical pharmacy support for mental health wards
Conducting medicines reconciliation and drug chart screening
Offering medication advice and support to patients on the wards
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize medication use for mental health patients
Supporting pharmacy technicians and ATO staff with medication reviews and checking duties

Requirements:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
Previous hospital ward experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
A passion for delivering high-quality patient care

Nice to have:

Mental health experience
