Guaranteed Income: Full-time minimum contracted hours (24 or 36 hrs). 12-hour day or waking night shifts on a Rota basis – 08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00. In some cases, this may require visible tattoos to be covered, where they are known to act as a distress trigger for the clients being supported, particularly those living with complex conditions such as neurological impairments, trauma-related responses, or cognitive conditions. Requirements:
Training in mental health support and crisis intervention preferrable
Proven experience working in mental health settings
Familiarity with various complex mental health conditions, including dissociative identity disorder
Experience following care plans
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively
Proficient in using active listening skills to understand client's needs and concerns
Strong skills in de-escalation techniques and crisis management
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
