Job Description

A welcoming specialist setting in Slough are looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join their team. You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, autism, speech & language needs, and social, emotional and behavioural needs within a structured and supportive environment. The role is hands-on, varied, and incredibly rewarding.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting learning activities within the classroom
  • Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
  • Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive relationships
  • Helping create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment

Requirements
