Job Responsibility

  • Searching for new suppliers and maintaining relationships with existing partners
  • Co-creating the purchasing strategy within the assigned category (beverages) and implementing agreed assumptions
  • Managing sales targets, margin, and inventory in line with the defined budget
  • Delivering budget objectives and effectively managing the product category
  • Monitoring and analyzing the market and competitors’ activities in order to adapt the offer to changing customer needs
  • Conducting negotiations with suppliers, taking budget assumptions and strategic goals into account
  • Co-creating and implementing promotional plans for the assigned product category
  • Seeking innovative solutions and new products to enhance the assortment
  • Managing projects that develop the product offer

Requirements

  • Higher education, preferably in economics or related fields
  • English proficiency enabling fluent communication with suppliers
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in category management
  • Experience in managing projects related to the development of new products under private label brands
  • Proficient use of analytical tools and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of the supplier and manufacturer market and the ability to identify optimal solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills supported by proven achievements
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
  • High motivation to work, creativity, and openness to new ideas
