Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mendix Developer to join our remote team. As a Mendix Developer at Metafic, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing custom applications using the Mendix low-code platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and intuitive solutions that address our clients’ unique challenges.

Job Responsibility:

Designing, developing, and deploying Mendix applications in accordance with project requirements and best practices
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, and translating them into technical specifications
Building and maintaining reusable components, modules, and microservices within the Mendix platform
Conducting code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of applications
Providing technical guidance and support to team members, and participating in knowledge sharing activities
Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in low-code development, and recommending enhancements to existing processes and methodologies

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Certified Mendix Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Mendix platform development
Proficiency in Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro
Strong proficiency in model-driven development, and proficiency in developing custom widgets and modules
Experience with integrating external systems and APIs, and implementing security best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high quality solutions
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
