Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mendix Developer to join our remote team. As a Mendix Developer at Metafic, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing custom applications using the Mendix low-code platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and intuitive solutions that address our clients’ unique challenges.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing, developing, and deploying Mendix applications in accordance with project requirements and best practices
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, and translating them into technical specifications
  • Building and maintaining reusable components, modules, and microservices within the Mendix platform
  • Conducting code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of applications
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members, and participating in knowledge sharing activities
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in low-code development, and recommending enhancements to existing processes and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certified Mendix Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Mendix platform development
  • Proficiency in Mendix Studio and Mendix Studio Pro
  • Strong proficiency in model-driven development, and proficiency in developing custom widgets and modules
  • Experience with integrating external systems and APIs, and implementing security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high quality solutions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
