Job Description:

Role: Mendix Architect. Location: Cincinnati, OH. FTE Only.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain Mendix applications using Mendix low-code development platform
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and other developers to understand business requirements and design solutions
  • Participating in project planning and estimation
  • Ensure the quality of code and applications through testing, peer review, and code analysis
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Mendix applications
  • Follow best practices for software development and maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in low-code development and Mendix platform
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, team members, and management
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including agile methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Mendix Studio, Mendix Studio Pro, and Mendix Runtime
  • Experience developing custom widgets and modules for Mendix
  • Experience working with databases and data modeling
  • Experience integrating Mendix applications with external systems

Requirements:

  • Implementation and support of Mendix project
  • Mendix low-code development platform
  • Architect level experience in Mendix
  • Mendix Intermediate and Advance certification
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
  • Domain experience in Mfg. Industry
  • Knowledge of OPC-UA, PLC/SCADA interfacing
  • Analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail
  • Good Knowledge of Agile framework

Nice to have:

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
