Job Responsibility

Maintain the overall safety, security, and order of the Men’s Shelter
Supervise non-programmatic house activities to ensure effectiveness and timeliness
Ensure adequate security measures to protect clients, staff, volunteers, visitors, and property
Enforce house rules, including the fair administration of dismissals or suspensions when necessary
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies by contacting police, fire, medical, or other services
Prepare accurate and timely Incident Reports documenting significant issues or guest behavior concerns
Conduct interviews, complete paperwork, and administer drug and alcohol testing for incoming guests
Communicate effectively during shift changes with outgoing and incoming House Supervisors to ensure continuity of operations
Dispatch and coordinate use of the Men’s Shelter van as needed for approved purposes
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior House Supervisor or the Director
